Last week, the consortium meeting of the Fieldlabs@Scale project took place, an initiative focused on addressing the scaling challenges faced by fieldlabs and enhancing their sustainability and impact within mission-driven innovation.
Tour of the KNVB Fieldlab
The event kicked off with a tour of the KNVB Fieldlab, led by Giel Kirkels. This lab focuses on innovation within the football sector, covering areas such as health and medicine, safety and security, and a game data management platform.
Update on research progress
Following the tour, an update on the research progress was provided. This gave participants insights into the latest developments and discoveries made within the consortium.
Workshop: Value Pathways of Fieldlabs
Hannah Fults then led a workshop titled Value Pathways of Fieldlabs, which she had previously delivered with Fleur. The workshop emphasized the importance of stimulating reflection on the organic growth and experience of fieldlabs to better inform future decisions.
Interactive sessions explored key questions, such as: What kinds of activities do Fieldlabs engage in? How do these activities generate value? And when? What role does infrastructure play in this process?
